Radio Show #10: Bill Ingham, Director of Global HR Solutions, The Clorox Company

Bill has more than 17 years of experience in the consumer products and high tech industries. Bill's expertise includes all areas of Human Resources Management with special emphasis in recruiting and staffing where he has built entire staffing organizations (recruiting and staffing operations) and has had responsibility for high volume recruiting up to 4,000 people a year. In addition, Bill has significant expertise in Global Diversity & Inclusion, Succession Planning, Compensation, Employee Development and Leadership Development.

Bill currently directs Global HR Solutions for The Clorox Company. Global HR Solutions includes the design and development of all people processes, systems, technologies, and programs company-wide. Global HR Solutions sits at the heart of the Clorox HR operating model sandwiched between strategic consulting and workforce services. The Clorox Company is a leading manufacturer and marketer of consumer products with fiscal year 2007 revenues of $4.8 billion. Clorox manufactures and markets many of the best-known retail brands in America, including its namesake bleach and cleaning products, Armor All® and STP® auto care products, Fresh Step® and Scoop Away® cat litters, Kingsford® charcoal briquets, Hidden Valley® and K C Masterpiece® dressings and sauces, Brita® water-filtration systems, Glad® bags, wraps and containers, and Burt’s Bee’s® natural personal care products. With 8,500 employees worldwide, Clorox markets products in more than 100 countries, with manufacturing facilities in 20 countries.

Prior to joining the Clorox Company, Bill worked at PeopleSoft for five years. In addition to building a strategy for PeopleSoft's Human Resources Business Process Outsourcing (HRBPO) unit, Bill managed the Corporate Staffing group at PeopleSoft, where his team developed technology and programs to enable global recruitment. Leadership on this team resulted in a strong working relationship with the Product Strategy group, where his team helped develop the first version of PeopleSoft eRecruit. Before joining PeopleSoft, Bill worked at Aspect Communications in San Jose, CA in various HR management roles. Bill started his career with Oracle Corporation in Redwood Shores, CA, working as a manager and group leader in various functions, including, staffing, recruitment and compensation.

Bill attended the University of Western Ontario (UWO), in London, Ontario, Canada and Evangel University in Springfield, MO. He holds degrees in Communications and Psychology. Bill currently sits on the advisory board of the Human Capital Institute and was elected to the Oakland Workforce Investment Board by former Oakland Mayor, Jerry Brown.
