Tod founded Authoria in 1997 and during his tenure as the company’s CEO was responsible for the strategy, management and tremendous growth of the firm, and for leading it to profitability. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Authoria.
The author of publications about knowledge-based systems and B2B Internet commerce, Tod's work has been featured in dozens of publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Forbes Magazine. Previously, Loofbourrow ran a leading IT consulting firm, Foundation Technologies, Inc., which performed strategy and systems development work for Global 2000 companies.
He has been instrumental in successfully introducing knowledge-base systems for the managed care, insurance, human resources and financial fields. Loofbourrow also taught graduate courses in artificial intelligence and Internet commerce at Harvard University, where he created the university's first courses on knowledge-based systems and Internet commerce. Loofbourrow is a graduate of Harvard University and has performed graduate work at Harvard and Oxford Universities.
