Arie Ball is the Vice President of Sourcing and Talent Acquisition at Sodexo, a leader in food and facilities management with more than 120,000 employees in 6000 locations in North America.  In this role, Arie created Sodexo’s first ever centrally managed, cross-divisional recruitment organization that focuses on sourcing, attracting and recruiting top talent to Sodexo, and on identifying internal employees for promotional opportunities.  A key contribution has been the development and implementation of a multi-generational and diversity sourcing strategy that has resulted in a measurable increase in diversity of candidate slates. Under her leadership, Sodexo’s Talent Acquisition Group has become an award-winning organization, widely recognized for innovative approaches. The Group was recognized by Sodexo’s CEO with the CEO Market Place Award for Innovation. In addition, it has received numerous awards from organizations such as SHRM, DiversityInc, ERE, Workforce Management, IQPC and the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation. It also paved the way for Sodexo to receive the Freedom Award from the Secretary of Defense, the highest award bestowed by the military to a top employer.

Prior to joining human resources, Arie spent nearly 26 years in operations.  Among Arie’s proudest achievements include a 26 year history of 100% account retention, client satisfaction ratings which were among the highest in the country, career advancement for many of her managers, and consistent financial results. She has three times been awarded Sodexo’s Spirit Award for “Developing our People”.

Arie is on the Board of the Multicultural Food and Hospitality Association (MFHA).  She has served as a New England coordinator for WiNG, Sodexo’s Network Group that is dedicated to the professional development of women.  She is also a member of a variety of professional and community organizations including the Women’s Food Service Forum and the Association of Managers for Innovation.

Arie received a BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management, and an MBA at Bryant College in Smithfield, RI.  She is also a registered dietitian.
