Jeanne Achille founded The Devon Group in 1994. She is responsible for driving the strategic direction of the widely respected, privately held public relations and marketing agency, remaining deeply involved with clients, press and analysts. Achille more than 25 years of sales, marketing and PR experience, including the development of corporate branding campaigns, successful company and product launches, executive media training, media and analyst relations, and speaker bureau programs. Considered by many to be “one of the best public relations professionals in the business,” Achille is also a skilled crisis communicator who has designed and delivered communications programs that proactively address the most challenging of business and workplace circumstances.
Before starting The Devon Group, Achille directed marketing at Xylogics, a publicly held Boston-based networking vendor that was acquired by Nortel, while also raising her then young family. Earlier in her career, she held senior sales, marketing and global product management positions at Ceridian in Minneapolis; Information Science Corporation (InSci) in Montvale, New Jersey; and a New York-based division of Allied-Signal Corporation. Her education includes undergraduate and graduate degrees in fine arts, experimental psychology and education with honors from Long Island University's C.W. Post Center as well as MBA studies at Adelphi University. Her award-winning articles have been published in Fortune, Human Resource Executive, Workspan, IHRIM, Paytech, HRO Today, Recruiting Trends, Workforce Management, Workplace, Benefits and Compensation Solutions, Canadian HR Reporter, and Talent Management magazine.
Achille has served as the elected communications expert on New Jersey's 7-person Supreme Court Committee on Attorney Advertising. Active in a number of local and national business organizations, she is a frequent moderator and presenter on entrepreneurial, workplace and PR/marketing topics.
