Mary Sue Rogers is the General Manager for IBM’s Global HR, Learning & Recruiting outsourcing business. Prior to this role she has held senior positions in HR within IBM and PwC.

Mary Sue’s experience in HR is extensive and she has worked in business and consulting dealing with key HR issues such as the maturing workforce, workforce management, performance management, and talent development. Her special focus is on the transformation of the HR function, with a focus on outsourcing to drive transformation and to facilitate the move of HR to a focus on more strategic aspects of human capital, such as talent and workforce management.

Her primary client focus is working with multi-national clients, and her current clients come from the industrial, financial services and distribution sectors. Her experience of working with global organizations has also led to her developing a specialty in driving cross-cultural change and transformation.

Mary Sue has written several articles on the future of HR and is a sought after speaker with recent engagements with CAHRS, HRPS and the HR Technology Group. Mary Sue was a finalist for the European Women of Achievement Award for 2003 and was selected by Consulting Magazine as Top 25 Consultant in the World in 2006. She was also named to a select group of HRO industry leaders who have been designated as HRO Superstar by the HRO Today magazine in 2008 and was award the HRO Provider of the Year in 2009.

Mary Sue is based in the UK, and travels extensively to clients and IBM’s key delivery locations in Manila, San Jose Costa Rica, Hortalandia Brazil and Budapest Hungary. Prior to IBM Mary Sue was a partner in PwC consulting, leading globally the 3000+ Human Capital Consulting team. Her career has included HR and management positions in General Motors, Black & Decker and Cummins Engine.
