Tim Clifford is co-President of ADP National Account Services, with direct responsibility for the Benefits and Talent Management divisions.
Under his leadership, ADP has made key acquisitions that have built out ADP’s Human Capital Management (HCM) offering. These include the acquisition of SHPS HR solutions for robust spending account and leave administration solutions and Asparity for in-depth benefits decision support tools. In the talent management division, he has expanded the portfolio to include performance management, succession planning and learning, while adding essential content and services. These additions underscore ADP’s commitment to being the HCM partner of choice for organizations with more than 1,000 employees.
Tim joined ADP in 2010 through the acquisition of Workscape, the company he co-founded. As president and CEO of Workscape, he set the strategic vision and direction for this award-winning company since its inception in 1998. Under his leadership, Workscape rose to a prominent position in its industry, differentiated by its commitment to exemplary client service and continuing innovation as a technology-based provider of outsourced talent management and benefits administration solutions.
Clifford's background includes extensive experience in accelerating growth for early- and growth-stage companies, as an investor, director and executive. Before founding Workscape, he was president and COO of HealthPlan Services’ (HPS) small group business unit, the most profitable division of this NYSE company.
Just prior, Clifford was with Consolidated Group from 1985 to 1997 before its acquisition by HPS. As president and CEO from 1991 to 1997, he advanced the growth of this national outsourcing services leader in the insurance and managed care industries through more than ten acquisitions.
Clifford's earlier career experience includes Prudential Insurance Company, where he rose to regional group manager.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in art history from Northeastern University.
